About Ballistic Defense Academy

After many years of instructing for other organizations, Dan Streeter and Gena Horton started Ballistic Defense Academy in Jan 2017. Dan and Gena are NRA Certified Pistol Instructors and Range Safety Officers. 

They specialize in teaching defensive handgun and concealed carry tactics.

Gena serves as the primary instructor and range master. She is an Army Veteran who enjoys teaching shooters of all skill levels.

Closed shoes or boots. NO flip-flops, sandals or heels.


Factory-new or factory-reloaded ammunition with full-metal jacket. No home or personal reloaded ammunition, please.


Initial CCW and Introduction to handgun class: 150 rounds

**NOTE INITIAL CCW STUDENTS DO NOT BRING HANDGUNS OR RANGE GEAR FIRST 2 SESSIONS**


Renewal CCW: 50 rounds per gun
